Support the local arts!

Words Come to Life is a poetry-inspired art exhibit blending several forms of art in an effort to inspire our community and empower youth. In its third year, Words Come to Life will focus on the theme of Resilience and will feature original poetry and visual art by local artists, high school youth and writers from Ironwood State Prison. This event will also include compelling spoken word presentations and live musical performances.

Poetry comes to life through visual and performing arts.

Workshops

Various workshops are offered to local youth, ages 15-21, and adults who are a part of local programs that offer a second chance at life. The workshops help them explore and discover their own love and talent of poetry writing, visual art, and spoken word. Workshops are scheduled various times throughout the year. Stay tuned for workshops in 2019. We are teaming up with various local arts advocates who are passionate about art and our community!
